Welcome to Egypt

• The 2019 IEEE International Conference on Vehicular Electronics and Safety (ICVES-2019) is an annual forum sponsored by IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society. It brings together researchers and practitioners to discuss vehicle electronics, and research and application aspects of safety systems. This edition it is expected to have 100~150 attendees from all over the world.
• This year, ICVES’19 takes place in Cairo, Egypt in the German University in Cairo (GUC). It is located in the 5th Settlement, New Cairo which is considered one of the most affluent districts of the city. It serves as the central axis of the city of New Cairo. It contains financial, administrative and commercial centers that serve the city and Greater Cairo as a whole. It is one of the fastest growing areas in Egypt in terms of construction.
